AJF creates Press Freedom Tracker to extend its advocacy role in APAC
The Sydney-based Alliance for Journalists’ Freedom (AJF) was incorporated as a public not-for-profit company in 2018. The organisation’s purpose is twofold: AJF works with Australian governments to ensure legislation supports press freedom and campaigns in Asia–Pacific wherever journalists have been imprisoned, threatened, censored or killed.

AJF identified the need to develop a project that provided a visual overview of the data in the region it was trying to better understand. As a result, Decision In. was brought in the help create the Press Freedom Tracker
